Custom Portraits
A custom family, child or maternity portrait session takes place at the location of your choice. Not sure where? Perhaps your favorite park, a beach, large open field, my Queen Anne studio or even a lifestyle session in the comfort of your own home. I am always happy to provide recommendations tailored to the overall look you're envisioning or area where you live. Outdoor sessions are always scheduled within two hours of sunset to take advantage of the most flattering sunlight. I realize this can be a challenge with young kiddos, so I always arrive prepared with fun games and treats (if parent approved) to keep little ones engaged and in high spirits.
As an alternative to the traditional outdoor portrait session, I also offer in-home lifestyle sessions. I believe that there is something truly special about capturing your family as you are in your environment. A spotless home with an impeccably designed interior is absolutely not necessary! As an exclusively natural light photographer, indoor sessions are scheduled based on the time of day when you get a good amount of natural sunlight inside your home. In most cases that will be in the early afternoon. If we are shooting in your home, I will walk around and get a sense of where the best sunlight is once I arrive.
My rule of thumb when working with kiddos is the happier the kids, the better the portraits. That said, I take plenty of time throughout the session to really get to know and connect with little ones. I engage kiddos with lots of questions, stories, play funny games, and highly encourage silliness. Prepare yourself for a whole lotta giggles! Also, feel free to include your fur-baby(ies) if you wish. As a big animal lover, I believe that pets are family too.
Your $700.00 +tax session fee includes:
- 1-2 hour portrait session at the location of your choice

- Up to 5 people. $35 per each additional person

Half Portrait Sessions
This collection is ideal for families who are interested in a quicker, less customized session, but with the same beautiful, high-quality images of a full session. A half portrait session can take place at either my Queen Anne studio or at one of eight pre-selected outdoor locations.
Outdoor sessions are always scheduled within two hours of sunset to take advantage of the most flattering sunlight.
Your $500.00 +tax session fee includes:
- 30 minute portrait session at my Queen Anne studio or one of eight outdoor locations
- All of the best, retouched images (30+) provided via download and ready for print
- Up to 5 people. $35 per each additional person
- Not available for extended family sessions
- Styling tips for looking picture perfect
- Time and talent, including communication, shooting, processing of images, and travel
Newborn Portraits
A lifestyle newborn portrait session takes place in your home, where you and baby are most comfortable. Even though delivery dates can be very unpredictable, we will schedule a tentative session date as a placeholder on our calendars. Then, within 72 hours of life, I will ask that you please notify me so that we can make any necessary scheduling adjustments. In addition to my equipment, I also bring along an assortment of blankets, swaddles, headbands, etc. I love adding a personalized touch, so I encourage clients to set aside any special items, such as little hats, blankets, headbands, etc. that we might want to incorporate.
I offer a candid, lifestyle approach to newborn photography. This style includes a heavy emphasis on the home environment and family relationships. This may include images of mommy and daddy holding/loving on baby, sibling shots, baby swaddled up with eyes open laying in the crib, as well as lots of detail shots of those little hands, feet, etc.
Your $775.00 + tax session fee includes:
- 2 hour in-home newborn session
- Guidance on how to best prepare yourself, home, and baby for the newborn session
- All of the best, retouched images (100+) provided via download and ready for print
- Up to 5 people. $35 per each additional person
- Time and talent, including communication, shooting, processing of images, and travel
Family Mini Sessions
Although I do not offer family mini-sessions year-round, I do open up a very limited number of dates each fall. These book up fast, so please inquire within the August timeframe to ensure that you get a spot.
Have a friend who is also interested in a family mini-session? Book two or more back-to-back minis at the same location and I will gladly honor this portrait option.
Your $375.00 +tax session fee includes:
- 20 minute portrait session at a location of the photographer's choice
- 10 of the best, fully retouched images provided via download and ready for print
- Option to purchase additional images or complete gallery
- Up to 5 people. $35 per each additional person
- Time and talent, including communication, shooting, processing of images, and travel
Fresh 48 Session
This collection is ideal for the individual who prefers to not have their labor and delivery documented. Soon after the baby is born, I will arrive at the hospital to capture some of your very first images together. This session includes shots of baby with mommy, daddy, and any siblings, as well as those very first snuggles, eating, those little fingers and toes, etc. A fresh 48 session offers a much more candid, documentary approach, than the more basic posed style of photography provided by many hospitals.
Your $600.00 + tax session fee includes:
- 1 hour of photo coverage
- All of the best, retouched images (100+) provided via download and ready for print
- Time and talent, including communication, shooting, processing of images, and travel
Milestone Mini Session
A mini-session is a great option if you just want a couple portraits of your little one to mark their first year milestones. Please note that these mini-sessions are only applicable to 3-month, 6-month, 9-month and one-year milestones.
Your $400.00 +tax session fee includes:
- 30 minute portrait session at the photographer's studio or an outdoor location
- All of the best, retouched images (50+) provided via download and ready for print
- This option does not include family and/or sibling shots
- Time and talent, including communication, shooting, processing of images, and travel

If on the day of your session you and/or another member of your family are exhibiting symptoms of illness, specifically fever or vomiting, please notify me immediately and I will gladly reschedule your session at no fee
